Subject:           COVID-19 Essential Operation

 

 

Dear Friends,

 

As you know, our Country is now battling a global pandemic known as COVID-19.  It is already responsible for the deaths of thousands of people worldwide and, according to the CDC here in the U.S.,  there have been over 100,000 cases reported and almost 2,000 deaths to date.

 

It would be irresponsible to ignore the devastating impact  this virus has already imposed on our Country and community, and not try to do our part, as a small business to stop the continued spread of this deadly disease.

 

 According to the North Carolina Executive Order No. 121 issued by Governor Cooper on March 27, 2020, our business is identified as "essential".  Section 2, Subsection C, Item 26, of the Executive Order allows for our doors to remain open.  As you may know, we are a supplier of maintenance parts, supplies and equipment essential to the continuous production process and preventative maintenance efforts for local food processing & packaging facilities, municipal maintenance facilities and electric and gas power providers in and around the Mount Olive, NC area.  In addition, we serve the local agri-business community by offering parts and supplies essential in the maintenance and production of produce, poultry, beef and pork.

 

During this uncertain time, our business will introduce and abide by guidelines and directives set forth in this Executive Order Section 2, Subsection D and E regarding Social Distancing and other precautions.  When visiting our store, please be respectful of other customers and employees, and join us in practicing good hygiene and safe public interaction including maintaining at least six (6) feet distancing from other individuals and washing your hands using soap & water for at least 20 seconds as frequently as possible, or use hand sanitizer regularly.

 

We are maintaining regular cleaning of high-touch surface areas, offering call in order service and inventory verification and  payment options by phone as an alternative to personal interacting with store personnel to help minimize individual interaction during  this time.

We will continue to abide by Further Executive Orders and Directives as issued by the Governor, as well as adhere to commonly accepted best practices for small businesses that help curtail the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding our position regarding the spread of the COVID-19 virus, please contact:
