We are currently accepting applications for a stockroom store assistant to assist in all aspects of stockroom / store duties including inventory control and front counter sales activities. Must have valid NC license and minimum of a high school education. Job duties include, but not limited to, documenting receipt of inventory, verifying inventory, accurate stocking of shelves, creation and/or fulfilling of sales orders, invoices and sales receipts for customer sales. Direct customer interaction necessary, so a positive attitude, good work ethic and pleasant disposition is required. The right candidate for this job will join a team who works together to make our 50+ year old company successful.  Must be a "team player" and have a desire to contribute to the overall success of the company. Must be able to take instruction and carry out tasks as well as work with minimal direct supervision. This is an "entry-level" opportunity however, experience with, or knowledge of commercial & industrial  maintenance products (i.e. hose, fittings, pumps, chain, cable, sprockets, hoists, jacks, load straps, grease guns, air compressors, etc) would be helpful and considered in determining a starting salary. Purchasing Assistant (Full-time, Perm)

We are continuing to accept applications for a purchasing and inventory procurement position. High school graduate required, some college preferred. Knowledge of commercial and industrial maintenance products, tools, equipment and industrial maintenance applications would be helpful. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, assist in the preparation of purchase orders, auditing delivery receipts, verifying delivery tickets, balancing orders to vendor invoices, updating and correcting product costs and sales amounts, communicating with vendors regarding product orders, price quotes and delivery issues. Primary interaction with bookkeeper, inventory controller and sales personnel, with some customer interaction required. Good oral and written communication skills are essential as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ideal applicant will be mature, dependable, trustworthy, a "self-starter" and have a good work ethic. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires 40 hours per week. We are currently accepting applications and are seeking a motivated, fast-learner with a good attitude to assist in the shipping, receiving and inventory management duties for our company.  This is a full-time, permanent position as a Warehouse Coordinator with advancement possibilities  Must be drug-free, insurable, have a valid NC drivers license and able to work full-time Monday - Friday with occasional overtime. Duties include, but are not limited to, receiving incoming freight, physically unload inventory from freight carriers and perform visual check of containers for damage, signing for and notating any damaged inventory received, review packing lists and physically compare inventory received for any discrepancies, bulk-breaking & storage of bulk inventory in warehouse locations, operating a forklift, pallet jack, delivery trucks and other material handling equipment.  Duties also include coordinating or performing regular facility and vehicle maintenance and assist Stockroom Manager with inventory audits and orders. Occasional heavy lifting (40 to 60 lb) is required. Must be able to perform scheduled and un-scheduled deliveries within 60 mile radius as needed using company vehicles. Must be dependable, trustworthy, able to take instruction for multiple tasks and work independently, without continued direct supervision. Prefer high school graduate or GED. Some light computer work is required.
